Pros: Its not as heavy as I was expecting given the metal chain under theo- clearcoat, but its heavy enough. What's surprising is how powerful that thing is...and it's a touch loud, but it's to be expected with said power. Waterproof makes it easier to clean. Shape and size are good. I like it.
Cons: If there is a "con" to its the base, where theo- dial is. I suspect a fall inside theo- shower (waterproof after all) would damage how the top attaches and/or break the waterproof seal needed to protect the electronics. I think theo- dial could use a touch more resistance so it doesn't get bumped so easily and would fit the heavy-duty look better. I also wonder the the clear coat will yellow/oxidize with time. No major complaints though.
Bottom line, it's a good price which makes any potential problems insignificant. If it breaks after a few months of use, buy another, no biggie. I'm quite pleased with it and recommend it to other guys or gals.
